Ordering Information
& Conditions
Please note we are an on-line scrapbooking and papercraft
store, located in Adelaide, South Australia. We do offer phone and mail orders too, but we
are not a "shop front" - although orders can be
collected by arrangement (if you are able to collect from
Modbury).
By placing an order with Aussie Scrapping Studio (either
on-line, telephone or postal orders) the customer is
acknowledging that they have read the following conditions.
Minimum Order
There is no minimum order. All
postage conditions apply (see below).
Pricing
Prices are in Australian dollars and are GST
inclusive where applicable.
For orders outside Australia, conversion
will be made by the financial institutions, we are not able
to give an accurate exchange rate/quote. The exact
amount will be calculated depending on they day-to-day
conversion rates between Australia and your country.
For orders outside Australia, payment can only be made by
MasterCard or Visa.
All prices are as they appear on our
website - due to the "human" element there will be occasions
where the price will come up differently on the shopping
cart - please let us know if you find any discrepancies so
they can be fixed. Prices are subject to change
without notice.
Payment
Information
We accept MasterCard and Visa, money orders, cheques, direct debit and cash.
For payment with Cheques, Money Orders or Direct Debit -
please place your order and then we will contact you with
the exact amount owing, and details of where to send your
payment.
For cheque payments - cheques need to
clear before the parcel is sent (usually 3 - 5 working
days).
Please note that for international orders
(ie from outside Australia) payment can only be made via
MasterCard or Visa.
Please note that should your cheque not
be cleared for payment (ie "bounce") any further costs
incurred will
be charged to the customer.
Payments
Where payment is to be made by DIRECT DEBIT, MONEY ORDER or CHEQUE,
orders will only be held for a period of 7 days (after
invoicing) awaiting payment. If you require longer to
pay, please advise us at the time of ordering, we are happy
to hold orders under these circumstances. If
payments are not received within 7 days of us invoicing you
and notifying you of the amount owing and payment
information, orders will be cancelled and items returned to
stock. If payment is not received within 7 days, or
there is a problem with your credit card, we reserve the
right to cancel your order. We will make every effort
to contact you if there is a problem with any payment.
Refund Policy
- Faulty or Incorrect Items
Aussie Scrapping Studio will refund/exchange where an item
is faulty or the incorrect item has been sent (ie if we make
a mistake at our end). If you
have received an item which is faulty, or the incorrect one
has been sent, authorisation for the exchange, refund or
credit must be organised prior to the item being sent back.
Please email us
if you have any discrepancies with your order. Contact
must be made within 10 days of the date of the invoice.
In these circumstances Aussie Scrapping Studio will pay
postage costs.
Refund Policy
- "Change of Mind"
Aussie Scrapping Studio will only exchange or credit at our
discretion. No refunds will be issued simply for a
"change of mind". Please email us to get
authorisation. Once authorisation has been given, the
following conditions then apply. The customer must pay all shipping
costs. All goods must be returned unopened and in
their original packaging so that they can be re-sold.
Contact must be made within 10 days of the date of the
invoice.
International
Orders - for ALL
orders from outside Australia
Please note that Aussie Scrapping Studio
is located in South Australia, AUSTRALIA.
Postage will be charged at the current Australia Post
International Delivery rates, which will be worked out
depending on the location to be posted to and also the
weight of the parcel.
We will email the customer once
this has been worked out with a total for approval prior to
any amount being charged to customers.
You will receive an email confirming
postage rates and the total of the invoice.
Your order will not be processed
until you have approved the postage fees.
As a general guide (for parcels
less than 1kg) - parcels to New Zealand will cost
$20.00, parcels to Asia Pacific countries will cost $25.00,
Parcels to USA/Canada/Middle East will cost $30.00 and for
the rest of the world will cost $35.00. ***Please
note this is only a guide and any extra weight will be
additional cost*** This is why we will
always quote and email you an invoice for approval prior to
invoicing and processing of payments.
Payment for international orders can only
be made by MasterCard or Visa. No direct debit or
money orders can be accepted for international orders.
Delivery Terms
We aim to process all orders within 2
working days. Orders are processed in order of receipt. Please allow up to two weeks for receipt of your
order. If there is any delay in despatching your order, you will
be contacted by email. Aussie Scrapping Studio does not
routinely backorder if an item is unavailable at the time of
order. (This means that orders will be sent with items missing if
they are out of stock, but we will notify you of this and
contact you when the item is available again so that
customers can re-order) Customers will NOT ever be charged
in advance if items are unavailable, payments will only be
taken for items in stock/invoiced.
If paying by cheque, money order or direct
deposit– payment
must be received within 7 days or the order will be cancelled.
Please note items can go out of stock if there is a delay in
making payment. Some items are not routinely kept in stock
- we will let you know if we need to get your item in.
Aussie Scrapping Studio uses Australia Post for
delivery of parcels. We do reserve the right to use
other carriers from time-to-time.
Special Orders
Some items are not routinely kept in
stock (mainly due to restricted storage space), and these
items will be ordered "as required". Please allow
longer for these items to come in - orders with some
suppliers are subject to a minimum order. Product
availability will also be dependant on the supplier having
the product on-hand when the order is placed. At all
times we will keep you informed on the status of your order.
Sometimes too prices will change when special orders are
received - if this is the case you will be notified of any
changes. We reserve the right to ask for full payment
for special orders (ie when items are ordered in specially
for customers).
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are for internet orders
placed directly to Aussie Scrapping Studio at Modbury.

Miscellaneous Information
If you are not sure about postage, please
email us for a quote. Please note that some items
(marked on site) do require additional postage regardless of
the total of the order. If there are any orders which
require additional postage you will be contacted prior to
processing and shipment of your order for approval.
Most orders are sent via Australia Post.
Aussie Scrapping Studio will not be held responsible for
orders that go missing while in transit to you. We take every care in packaging
your order to ensure that you will receive your order
safely, however Aussie Scrapping Studio will not be held
responsible for orders that are lost or damaged during
transit. Parcels can be sent by Receipted Delivery
(same as registered post) for an additional $1.35 per parcel
(within Australia only). Please request this when
ordering and this will be added to your total. This is
the only way parcel delivery can be tracked, otherwise
Aussie Scrapping Studio will not be held responsible for any parcels which go missing.
Please enquire with us about this option.
Express post is available – please
contact us for a quote when ordering, which again will need your
approval prior to processing your order (again within
Australia only).
Extra cover (formerly Insurance) is also
available upon request - $1.30 per $100 value - please
request this when ordering and this will be added to your
total.

at Modbury (South Australia) can be arranged - please call 1300 138 775 for details.
Please note if item/s are small and/or light –
the actual postage cost may be cheaper than the quoted fees, and
customers will be charged accordingly.
Prices & Description changes
All prices on the website are quoted in
Australian dollars and include the GST (Goods & Services
Tax) where applicable. Prices and descriptions of
products are subject to change without notice. Aussie
Scrapping Studio maintains no responsibility for inadvertent
errors. Please contact us with regard to any
discrepancies. Our website and shopping cart is not
"inventory based", and is updated by "humans"!!! While
we do our best to keep our stock lines and website
up-to-date errors may occasionally occur. We will
notify you if this happens to your order. All pricing
is as current as we can make it - sometimes when we receive
new orders pricing does change from our wholesalers which is
out of our hands. There have been instances where we
are forced to increase the pricing on items, but customers
will always be notified of this prior to any processing of
payments. There have also been instances where items
do drop in price from our wholesalers and this reduction
will also be passed on to customers.
While we endeavour to depict products as
accurately as possible, there are some things beyond our
control. Some manufacturers have size variations (eg
paper sizes or album sizes are quoted as 12"x12" vary
between manufacturers).
Images
All images have been scanned or photographed to
best depict the true colours of the products. However the colours
on screen may vary from the true colours of the products.
Hand-made things can vary quite a bit to in colour/shape
etc (due to the fact that they are hand-made). Please
be aware of this before purchase.
Acid/Lignin
Free
Products that are described on this website as
Acid free and/or lignin free are those products described in the
packaging by the manufacturer as acid/lignin free. Aussie
Scrapping Studio cannot guarantee products for their
acid/lignin free status. Aussie Scrapping Studio takes all
reasonable care to ensure products are handled appropriately to
help ensure the chemical state of products is not altered.
